Guest Setup Guide

Look and sound great. No studio required.

You do not need fancy gear. A laptop or a phone, a quiet room, and light on your face is plenty. Run through this once and you show up looking sharp and sounding clean.

You are not doing this alone. When we hop on the call, the first thing we do is a quick lighting, framing, and sound check together, and we fix anything before we hit record. This guide just gets you most of the way there.
Step 1

Camera at eye level

The single biggest upgrade is height. A camera looking up at you is not a good look for anybody.

Step 2

Sound Matters most

This is the one that makes or breaks it. People forgive soft video. They click away from bad audio in seconds.

Step 3

Light on your face

Light is simpler than people think. There is really one rule.

Step 4

Kill the interruptions

Nothing derails a good take like a phone buzzing or a door opening. Two minutes of prep saves the whole conversation.

Step 5

We check it together first

Do not stress about getting every detail right on your own. When we start the call, we take a couple of minutes to look at your framing, check your light, and listen to your sound. If something needs a tweak, we tweak it right then. Then we forget about all of it and just talk. That is when the good stuff happens.

Ready when you are.
